today is my best friend's birthday! As such, i have dedicated this post to HER! (:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAFIA AMELIA LIVINGSTON!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH EVEN IF WE LIVE SEAS APART<33333!
i remember all the times i used to sleepover at your house and help your mom bake her fantastic cakes and eat all the leftovers after she sent them all off to her clients! (: especially her lemon meringue thingy! heavenly!
and when she got an order for a wedding cake! she wouldn't let us touch it of course but we'd admire it and eat icing from the tube! (: HAHA!
and playing i-dont-know-what in your little room, then your big room and now its your little room again! (: and going to Lodhi park once on your birthday and playing on that silly little colourful "children's bridge" and we had so much fun!
and all the times you took me with you to your mom's performances and yours too! and that time when your mom was singing at this Hungarian place and we met this lady called 'crystal' and gave her that ring that she wore for her performance! and then after that we made up some silly story about the floods coming and how we had to put up the "kalooz"! :D haha it's so funny now remembering it! We laughed insanely while putting up all the "kalooz" though! (:
and i remember when your mom opened fabcafe and we used to go there and drink that lemon shikanjvee?? cant spell it! and eat the yummy humus bread thing! fantastic! and lal jim who used to call me 'divyani'/'briyani' cos he cuoldn't pronounce it and you used to laugh so hard!
and how we used to talk so much even then and how you were crazy about d*n** and you still are! and when you hurt your foot in the bicycle wheel and it didnt stop you from coming over and being your usual happy self even when the cotton wool under the cast came off you were still optimistic although it must have hurt alot.
i miss making you laugh because at least then i knew that you laughed with me and not somebody else that i wanted to be. i miss our time together and we cried so much when i knew i was moving to Singapore.
It's all really different now. Your mom doesn't sell her cakes anymore, we dont see each other often enough to play silly things, Lodhi park's changed;doubtless,
you're the one performing now, the cafe's closed, d*n** has cancer and moved away for awhile and i dont make you laugh half as much as i wish i could.
but you know what? we'll always be best friends because true friends are there for each other no matter what and you've always been there for me. and even though seeing you once a year is far from enough, there's still the hope thaty someday, somehow, we'll end up living in the same country again. Until then; thank God for technology!

EXAMS ARE almost OVER!!!!
and i had no school today! (: cos its only the mother tongue papers!! haha gosh i love taking FRENCH! (:
speaking of which- thanks to my dear young grandmother who takes JAP, i now know a cool french band!-kyo! (: haha. and their songs are pretty nice. well some of them anyway. but they're super emo! i like the song "derniere danse" and it doesnt have too weird a meaning like some of their songs!

the translators aren't too good at translating songs so i had to use my amazing skill! and my trusty dictionary! (: goodness sasha says im sounding more and more ego and more like junyan everyday! HAHA. sigh. it may be true!
sasha also says i should marry a chinese cos then my kids will be chindian and chindians are always gorgeous! (: haha. but if she marries an indian or malay her children will have an even more complicated pie chart than she does! 1/16 french? haha who knows!
do you realise that with all finals being over and everything-we're fast approaching the end of another year?? I dont know where all the time goes!! life is flying by! before i know it, i'll be taking my o's and then a's and going to university and all! and then what? not sure what God has planned! but you know, it seems like just the other day we were sec twos mugging for our finals and then celebrating. and then getting shifted to streams and me thinking how awkward it was cos i didnt know many people in 3GENEROSITY(: but now its been 9 months together! WOW. WHERE DOES ALL THE TIME GO?????
but yet so many things have happened in this year! like... okay i shall save all that for end-december posts where everybody is remembering 2007 and setting goals for 2008 that are so rarely acheived! (:
eeya i shall go now and enjoy more slacking!! (: who studies for english anyway? :D
